Meniscus is:

swords of worn glory
split glaciers hewn
upon axes golden
lay strife for those
who seek a pleasure ride

until we realize killing does
not solve problems
we’ll be stuck with
cascading line
defending against those
who we’ve strewn toil
in recent decades

relief for the real world
is near

hurt pain negligence must
be awakened
take all the force of
a lifetime and gather
strength of mystical
and intelligent masses

then fling combined weight
at the walls of the box
containing every thing that Is
and every thing that is wrong

force a hole in boundaries
of societies doctrine
to let some fresh air in
punch through tradition and
dogma to arrive on the
other side:
reason
love
and peace

awakening of the masses
we live in a global
community with many distant
brothers and sisters

But are we fighting
enemy unseen?
Greed and struggle for power
nature of our world’s inhabitants

Poke a hole in the luxury
of complacency
and power

But in the mean time,
in preparation for our crusade
and to charge the Being,
we’ll enjoy the bohemians
who refuse to lie down to
fear and rust of ages
