To Whom It May Concern:
After searching your online and bound book dictionaries,
Meniscus Magazine has discovered that a very important
word has been left out of your dictionaries. It appears that “positivity”
is not recognized as a real word.
We would like to officially coin the “positivity”
because it is most certainly a word. It is used often here at Meniscus
Magazine. It is part of daily vocabulary for thousands of people.
We at Meniscus Magazine have embraced the word as the essence
of our philosophy: “Positivity through art”
Positivity can be defined as in many ways:
(v): Being, related to, or charged with the electricity
of good cause.
e.g. He went into the room radiating positivity.
(n): A specific principle derived from nature, reflecting
on the absence of negative characteristics.
e.g. Although the man was yelling at him, he did not get upset,
but held on to his positivity.
(adj): a way to describe a person’s upbeat attitude
and outlook on life
e.g. She is smart, funny, and has a lot of positivity.
