P.E. Maher, attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, as well as a course of independent study at Massachusetts College of Art.

A member of several area art associations, Ms. Maher founded and ran the Broad Street Arts Co-op in Boston, where children developed painting and drawing techniques. Through the years she has exhibited work in a number of art shows in Greater Boston, and she has been recognized for her figure work. Ms. Maher also focuses on portraits and abstracts, and her preferred media are acrylics, oil cray-pas and charcoal. For many years Ms. Maher has also worked in the corporate and freelance sectors as an art/marketing director and graphic designer.
