A member of several area art associations, Ms. Maher co-founded the Broad Street Arts co-operative in Boston, where children developed painting and drawing techniques. Through the years she has participated in a number of art shows in Greater Boston. Ms. Maher focuses on figurative, portraits and abstracts, and her preferred media are acrylics and charcoal.

Ms. Maher has also worked in the corporate and freelance sectors as an art director and graphic designer.
